Composite Bonding

Minimal PrepIf you have broken, damaged and worn down teeth we can restore them with composite—maintaining tooth structure, and maximizing your comfort. Using bonded or milled onlays and inlays made from a composite material, we will restore teeth to their original strength, function, and beauty. By preserving tooth structure, we maintain the health of the tooth’s pulp (often damaged with more invasive treatment).

These bonded restorations (inlays and inlays) look gorgeous— adhesive technology creates a bond that makes your teeth stronger than your natural teeth. Using bonded or milled composite (a direct process (does not require a lab) is ideal—replace old fillings, close spaces, brighten discolored teeth, correct a bad bite replace worn enamel or repair broken or chipped teeth. Direct bonding requires minimal (sometimes no numbing at all), and the results are life-like, beautiful, and very natural.

Dr. Bloom is highly skilled in all areas of composite bonding (often very delicate work)—having taken hundreds of hours of advanced training in working with bonded and milled composite.

For all restorative treatment (even the simplest), Dr. Bloom will check your bite until he’s assured that you’re in harmony—your TMJ’s are in their resting position, so your fascial muscles stay calm.
