About Dr. Bloom
Dr. Bloom: Master Dentist, Pankey Visiting Faculty
Education and Training:
Dr. Bloom earned his degree in dental medicine from Tufts Dental School in 1978. With over 3,800 hours of advanced training, he’s mastered all aspects of restorative, aesthetics, non-invasive solutions, TMJ pain and dysfunction, headache pain, and implant treatment. He’s an alumnus of prestigious training centers including the Peter Dawson Institute, the Seattle Institute of Advanced Dental Education, and the L.D. Pankey Institute.
Leadership and Distinctions:
In 2000, Dr. Bloom was one of seventy-five dentists selected worldwide for a visiting faculty position at the L.D. Pankey Institute—an elite distinction. He’s committed to sharing his expertise and teaches annually in TMJ dysfunction and treatment, aesthetic dentistry & smile design, reconstructive and implant dentistry.
Passion for Aesthetics:
Dr. Bloom’s love for aesthetic dentistry began with his association with The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). He’s dedicated weeks each year to hands-on training with world leaders in composite dentistry.
Recent Advancements:
Recent trainings include a four-day intensive with Didier Dietschi DMD in San Francisco, focusing on composite aesthetics. He also participated in a three-day aesthetics symposium in Brazil led by Newton Fahl DMD.
Expertise in TMJ/TMD:
Dr. Bloom is a master in treating TMJ/TMD and all occlusal issues. He teaches fundamentals of occlusion and offers non-invasive therapies for long-lasting pain relief.

Beyond his skills, Dr. Bloom is known for his genuine interest in people. With a great sense of humor and diverse interests from fine art photography to skiing, he’s more than just a dentist—he’s a friend.
